Travel and Tourism tutor, Margarette Alcindor says:“Our Travel and Tourism students have taken the initiative and put their event management skills to the ultimate test. They’ve worked hard to design, manage and promote an event which aims to celebrate cultural diversity within our borough by creating a World Travel Fair - a free event.

“We hope that members of our local community will come along and support our students and not only learn more about travel destinations around the world and travel careers - but also come an enjoy the fun activities created by our students.”

Travel and Tourism student, Iwan Mackenzie adds: "My ambition is to build a career in the events management industry. This event has provided a fantastic opportunity for me to put what I’ve learnt about managing events into practice. I’ve had the responsibility of project managing a team of about 30 fellow students to design and deliver the event. I can’t wait.”
